We all love shabby chic and vintage inspired weddings, thought it would be fun to switch it up a bit. I recently came across this ultra glamorous wedding on The Wedding Chicks, and literally drooled over many of the details. The invitations were the perfect signal to the Bride and Grooms family and friends, that this would be an event to remember. Simple but SO Chic!
The floral arrangements were the perfect mix of soft and textural. I loved the mix of “Sterling” Lavender roses, Black Calla Lilies, Safari Sunset, Orchids and fresh green Hanging Amaranthus.
All I can say about the Brides Brooch Bouquet is WOW! I know they are all the rage right now, but for some reason to see one that is made entirely out of silver encrusted brooches and rhinestones.
The table settings were gorgeous! Just the right amount of lavish & luxe details, mixed with the softness of the scalloped place-mats and variety of chair covers, and the Victorian styled centerpieces
The brides gown(s) were all amazing! What a fun idea to have more than one. I know many gals that have a hard time choosing their favorite dress, so… why not choose TWO!
The Raspberries and Macaroons were a delicate and delicious touch to an already fabulous event, and I LOVED the idea to serve them in vintage pink hobnail glassware. So brilliant!
….and the CAKE- Oh the BEAUTIFUL Cake! The details were again a nod to Olde World glamor, but executed in a way that screams clean and modern. Sometimes elegant simplicity speaks so much louder than in your face glitter and gaudy glamor.
Beautiful!
We hope you enjoyed today’s Inspirational Wedding. If this is the direction that wedding trends are heading then I am excited for what is coming around the bend! For additional pictures from the amazing event check out The Wedding Chicks.
